A simple set of CO2 for the lushness and health of aquarium plants.
A targeted plant treatment system, its use is simple and safe. Carbon substances are important for the quality growth of aquarium plants. They take care of maintaining the biological balance, while oxygen is released from plants during photosynthesis, and in addition, they break down harmful nitrogen compounds. In addition, they provide lushness and health to aquatic plants and make the aquarium more attractive overall. Healthy plant growth is also important because it limits the danger of algae growth. An aquarium in which the balance of carbonic acids is worth the effort: - the aquarium plants will be stronger, bigger and healthier, during a sufficient supply of CO2, - during the CO2 fertilization of the plants, the oxygenation of the water, which until now was provided only by the plants, will also increase, - the pH level will remain in an optimal value, therefore, for example, dangerous reactions cannot occur Ammonia and ammonia, - also helps prevent unsightly lime deposits on leaves and plant slices.
Installation: 1. place the diffusion tube on the wall of the aquarium 5-15 cm below the surface with the membrane up. 2. put one end of the tube on the tube, the other end on the bottle head. 3. leave the tube unfilled in the aquarium for several hours, preferably overnight. During a certain time, the tube is filled with water. 4. then fill the diffusion tube by lightly squeezing the bottle head. The gas will escape freely into the aquarium. When filling the tube with CO2, the water level in the tube will decrease. When filling for the first time, fill the tube only halfway. After 24 hours, you can fill the tube up to the bottom edge. It is enough to top up 1-2 times a day.
For occasional venting, turn the diffusion tube under water so that the remaining gases can escape. If the membrane is dirty, remove the upper cover ring and carefully clean the membrane. When adding gas, keep the cylinder above the water level to prevent water from entering the connecting tube. When adding gas and diffusing it into the aquarium, turn off the aeration and filters. It makes no sense to top up the gas at night and at a time when the aquarium is not sufficiently lit. At this time, plants are unable to absorb gas. You can determine the CO2 content in aquarium water with the Tetra Test. The optimal concentration of CO2 is 5 - 15 mg / l.
Suitable for aquariums up to 100 l content.
